Samsung Jasper for Verizon gets leaked

The unannounced Samsung Jasper SCH-i200, of which we first heard last month, has been pictured on its way to Verizon Wireless in the US.

The Samsung SCH-I200, better known as Jasper, has been leaked again, and this time we get to see what the device looks like.

The Samsung Jasper, a mid-range 4G smartphone for Verizon, has been in the rumor mill for quite some time. Between vague leaks and stops at the FCC it wasn’t long before we’d eventually get a look at the thing. EVLeaks got their hands on initial press shots of the device and went to Twitter to unleash them.

The Jasper is expected to be a midrange smartphone that won’t break the bank. The photograph shows it in Verizon livery complete with support for 4G LTE connectivity.

Supposedly legitimate photos of the Samsung Jasper, which was previously spotted at the FCC and in benchmark results, have leaked on Twitter, making the smartphone's release on Verizon seem imminent.

Say hello to the Samsung Jasper headed for Verizon sometime in the not-so-distant future.

Late in June, a Samsung device carrying the model number SCH-I200 made a stop in the FCC and looked to be headed to Verizon. That phone has popped up again today on Twitter, but this time we're get a look at the phone itself rather than being stuck with the simple outline contained in the FCC filing. The device is also referred to as the Samsung Jasper...

It has been a while since we last talked about the Samsung SCH-I200 'Jasper' smartphone however it appears we should be ready to get back into the swing of things. The first images of the handset have appeared online, giving us a look at what should be a decent mid-range device of the Samsung camp.
