With Nokia unveiling their new Xseries phones at Nokia World and Sony Ericsson making their XPERIA X2 official already, Motorola has decided to finally grab whatever is left of the limelight and announce their new iDEN phone, the Motorola Debut i856.

Motorola Debut i856

Unlike their previous iDEN offering, the Clutch i465, the Motorola Debut doesn’t come with a QWERTY keypad, but it is, however, the company’s first iDEN slider phone. The Motorola Debut features a 2.2-inch TFT display, 1.3-megapixel camera with video capture, Bluetooth, GPS, voice activated dialing, IM capabilities, and supports up to 8GB microSD card capacities. It’s now available on Boost Mobile for $169.99. It may be a bit on the average side as far as specs are concerned, but you’ve got to admit, this is one of the better looking iDEN phones available in the market today.
