Some may consider this move long overdue already, but for what its worth, Palm is now ready to accept paid app submissions for their App Catalog app store. They’ve actually had roughly thirty apps available at the App Catalog ready for download and free-of-charge since day one, but you have to admit, 30 isn’t really an ideal number you’d like to keep around for very long especially when you’ve got a hot new device on your hand. So, beginning today, Palm has officially opened the doors of their App Catalog to developers so that they can finally offer up their works to Palm Pre users around the nation. Considering that their App Catalog has actually done pretty well in the absence of paid apps, even managing to hit 1 million downloads, this latest development will no doubt help the company stage their comeback.
