LG Canada has just unveiled two new handsets on their website, the LG Bliss and the LG Keybo2.

LG BlissThe Bliss is packs a 3-inch touchscreen display along with a 2-megapixel camera, Bluetooth, MP3 player, and speakerphone functionality. It’s not exactly a contender for the most feature packed phone of 2009, but at least it’s not as expensive as the other touchscreens in the market today. The Bliss is reported to be scheduled for a Bell release on August 7th with the following rumored pricing scheme plans: $79.95 on a 3-year contract, $129.95 for 2-years, $229.95 for single year, and $279.95 outright/prepaid purchase.

The Keybo2, meanwhile, is an identical twin of the Env3 which is available on Verizon in the US. Its specs, as expected, are pretty much the same as well. It features a 1.56-inch 262K color display, 3-megapixel camera with LED flash, Bluetooth, MP3 player and a full QWERTY-keypad albeit coming in a different color. This one is also expected to debut on August 7th although on a different carrier, Telus. Thanks to a Best Buy ad that Mobilesyrup was able to scoop up, we now know that the Keybo2 will retail (at least for Best Buy) for $129.99 on a 3-year contract, $229.99 for 2-years, $249.99 for a single year, and $329.99 outright purchase.

Since both phones are already put up on LG Canada’s site, there’s no denying that these phones will indeed be available in Canada. However, as far as their release date and pricing is concerned, nothing’s final yet until both Bell and Telus make their respective official announcements. On the upside, though, August 7th is just several days away so the actual waiting period won’t be that long anymore.

UPDATE: The LG Keybo2 is now available on Telus for $99.99 on a 3-year contract, $199.99 for 2-years, $249.99 for a single year, and $299.99 outright purchase. With the exception for the single year price which is just the same as previously reported for Best Buy, the pricing of LG Keybo2 on Telus is actually more affordable than expected.
