The promotional video for the LG Chocolate BL40 has been available on the net for quite sometime now, and it has also been approved by the FCC already albeit lacking HSDPA connectivity for retail in the US. So, what’s next for LG’s new Chocolate mobile phone?
Well, they’ve just released its first official press photos making it more enticing to the public. Unfortunately, that’s all they have for us now. No new information was revealed about this 4th Black Label series phone nor did they explain why the NAM version won’t be featuring HSDPA connectivity despite it being one of its top features.
So what’s good about this? As the saying goes, when there’s smoke then there’s got to fire. The same goes with press photos. With the release of these official press images of the LG BL40, it’s highly likely that an appropriate announcement won’t be far behind as well.
UPDATE: LG has just officially announced the BL40. It will be available in over 54 countries in Q3. As to which countries are included in the list and its price is still anybody’s guess. We’ll report more on this once the necessary info is made available. The full press release can be found here.
