The HTC Magic looked fairly good until the iPhone 3GS was released. It can record video after all, unlike the earlier iPHone 3G (oops, there goes its only advantage, especially since the Magic can only record in QVGA). The Magic also has no better specs than Apple's camera (3 MPx, autofocus, no flash), but Apple's cam software looks to be much better. With several manufacturers now beginning to release phones with 12 MPx cams, the Rachel doesn't look over-endowed in this area. Time will tell whether HTC's Sense UI on the upcoming Hero will be enough to stave off this assault from Sony Ericsson.
