[...] Announced back in June alongside the Nokia 5530 XpressMusic, this is the Finnish company’s follow up to their highly successful Nokia E71. It’s got a sleeker and more sophisticated look to it and ups the ante in the specs department with a 5-megapixel autofocus camera, 10.2Mbps HSDPA connectivity, optical d-pad, faster processor, and runs on the S60 FP2 platform. The Nokia E72 is slightly bigger and heavier though than its predecessor, but is certainly a notch higher in almost every other aspect as compared to the E71. [...]

Seems like a fantastic follow up to the E71. What's not to like about the upgrades:
optical navi key, 3.5 mm headphone jack, 5.0 megapixel camera (granted, the quality of the images
is a question still to be seen....), updated access to messaging.
Question is, will this become available in Canada in 2009 or if not, when?
Unfortunately, Canada is behind many countries in getting phones like these...
and I am debating whether it is worth it to try to buy the phone outside Canada
if it is too long before it becomes available here....
