Samsung B5100 S60-based phone gets spotted

Apart from Nokia, Samsung has known to come out with S60-powered mobile phones every once in a while. The latest, according to our tally, is the Sasmung Omnia HD, but that will soon be replaced by the upcoming Samsung B5100.

Samsung B5100

The Samsung B5100 is a splitting image of the 5-megapixel Samsung i7110 phone. Apart from inheriting most of its design features, it still comes with WiFi, HSDPA, GPS, Bluetooth, and runs on the S60 platform. However, it trims down a couple of megapixels from its i7110 sibling and offers up a modest a 3-megapixel camera complemented by a LED flash. Video fanatics won’t be disappointed with this sleek candybar as it also features a QVGA display and supports DivX playback as well.

No release date or pricing was mentioned. Nonetheless, considering it’s less powerful than the Samsung i7110 which currently retails for €499, this should be more on the affordable side.
