With consumers becoming more wary on their spending, entry level devices might be the saving grace of every mobile phone manufacturer in the industry amidst financially challenging times.
One such phone is the LG 5500 which is now available on Telus. This LG flip phone can be had for as little as $29.99 on a 3-yr contract. Opting for a single or 2-yr contract will cost you $149.99 or $99.99 respectively. Getting it outright will set you back $199.99. So what do you get for that price? You’ll bag yourself a 0.3-megapixel camera, Bluetooth, speakerphone with voice dial and commands, and a decently sized keypad making it very easy to compose a SMS or dial numbers.
It’s already available for retail on Telus albeit not yet listed on their website. If you’re not a power-user and interested in a entry-level phone, the 5500 may be worth a look.
