The last time we mentioned the LG Rumour 2 was back in March when we reported that it was headed for Sprint in the US. Now, it looks like it’ll be available in Canada too, courtesy of Bell.
This successor to the LG Rumor is expected to go on retail on Bell starting June 9. The rumored pricing is $69.95 on a 3-year contract, $119.95 on a 2-year contract, and $219.95 for a single year. Purchasing it outright on a prepaid arrangment will cost a whopping $269.95.
With the current LG Rumor now costing witht the humble price tage of $29.95 on a 3-yr contract, is the additional $40 in cost reasonable? With a slightly improved keyboard and changeable back plates, we’re sadly disappointed that the LG Rumour 2 doesn’t have anything really outstanding to make it stand out from its predecessor. more affordable LG Rumour.
Anyway, the pricing isn’t final, so the retail release numbers could be lower than what is currently being reported. We’ll report more on this as soon as the official announcement is made.

I am writing to LG Rumor because i am not happy with this phone at all!! I have purchased three of them one for myself and one for each of my girls who are adults we are on contracts…….My cell it turns off by itself when i am typing a text and it also likes to go on the web when i am texting…….my oldest daughter who is 27 her phone likes to go on the web also and when she writes a text and hitssned they go to her drafts instead of sending……..
my youngest daughters phone who is 22 she cant hardly ever sees her screen it is black and she has to slide the phone back and forth to get it to light up………i just think for the money we paid for these phones we should just have a phone that works properly i am not happy at all with these and when i bought these phones with the contract i paid over 200.00 a piece for these phones…..i just think you as the people that make these phones should stand behind your product and give the people that are having major problems with these phones something to help out on these phones,.
I got this phone and i think it is outstanding. I have had it for 2 months now and I have not had one problem yet, and hopefullly never will. This version of the rumour is so much better then the first one. The rumour 2 is a great phone with many good qualities. I have nothing bad to say about it at all
Lucymarie i am glad you are enjoying your LG rumoour 2 but i am not talking about the 2nd on i am talking about the first one and i am not happy with it at all……..i will never buy one of these phones again ……and for rumour not even sending anything to me apoligizing for what i have went through with the 3 phones that i have boughten and 2 of them being gifts i think it is an awful way for them to have a business they could of at least replaced these phones or given me some kind of credit ,……….i am not the only person that has had problems with there phones!!!!! It really disappoints me because it is a phone i was looking forward to having!!!
Hello LG.. i am really happy about my phone it works soo well but i really think you should do something about the other peoples phones like the ones that are having trouble.. trust me this is a great phone you might just of gotten the crappy ones that come with plans .. i spend 15 dollars a month on my phone and i absolutly love it it was well worth waiting like 3 weeks to get
I love the LG RUMOR 2 it is a great phone most ppl tell me that they had problems with there phones before but i believe that if u take gud care of it it would not be retarded lol
