It looks like Nokia fan boys in North America won’t have to wait long to get their hands on Nokia’s latest Nseries badboy, the N97.
According to The Nokia Blog, this touchscreen QWERTY-equipped slider phone is scheduled to hit North American retailers on June 2. Do note, however, that this is still tentative, but we’ve got no reason to doubt the Finnish company’s ability to meet this deadline. More importantly, its rumored to retail for just $699. Likewise, this isn’t final yet, but we at least have these figures to guide us at the moment.
Granted that June 2 is less than a month away, we’re expecting more details as well as an official announcement to happen very soon. Nonetheless, this news of the Nokia N97’s impending release in June is certainly good news on its own which will delight hardcore Nokia fanatics out there in North America.
