Nokia has just announced yet another addition to the E-series collection, the E52.

Looking almost like an identical twin of the yet-to-be released E55 sans the compact QWERTY keypad, the E52 sports similar features as well with a slightly smaller internal memory of just 60MB as opposed to the 100MB on the E55. HSDPA 10.2Mbps connectivity, GPS, OVI services, a 3.2-megapixel camera, noise cancellation and new email UI (read: Nokia E75) are just some of the more notable features of the E52, but what’s most impressive about it is its battery life which is said to provide up to 8 hours of talk-time and up to 28 days of standby time. In the same manner that the Nokia E63 is an affordable option to the E71, the Nokia E52 likewise serves as a cheaper but equally capable alternative to the E55.

Here's a video demo courtesy of Nokia Conversations showcasing the Nokia E52:

It'll be available in silver and brown colored variations, and is expected to start shipping in 2H of 2009 with a retail price of €245 or $325 USD before tax and subsides. That’s €20 ($26) cheaper for more or less the same phone. That’s really not a whole lot of savings, but this is probably just Nokia’s way of covering all their bases and making sure that everyone, whether a QWERTY lover or not, will be enticed to buy one of their latest Eseries phone offerings.
