Deutsche Telekom’s Q1 report has just been released and an interesting figure disclosed there was that T-Mobile USA has managed to sell over 1 million G1 Android phones since its release.

With just 1.5 million 3G devices currently active on their network, the T-Mobile G1 is clearly the reason behind the rise in 3G mobile phone sales in T-Mobile’s portfolio. Of course, taking everything into context, it’s still no comparison to the iPhone which managed to accomplish this feat in just 74 days, but hey, a milestone is still a milestone.
With that being said, congratulations T-Mobile on the success of the G1, but what we’d really like to know is when will the G2 finally be released to the public?
