Showing another facet in its arsenal of features, Motion Apps has released this video of the Palm Pre running GTS World Racer on its Classic Palm OS emulator.
While the graphics may not be as mind-blowing as the latest releases, the Palm Pre looks more than capable of handling games with ease. You could, of course, argue that the game used is already an outdated software program that’s less demanding than the current crop available today, but we’re pretty sure it can still manage to handle some of the new stuff as well.
With that being said, the Palm Pre and its new webOS is truly shaping up to be a worthy iPhone contender in many aspects. Gaming has been one of the better features on the iPhone, and it seems that will also be the case with the Palm Pre. Let’s just hope that its rumored release date won’t be pushed back any further as it’s quite a shame that a versatile device such as the Palm Pre is still not available for retail.
