Although the Apple App Store has yet to celebrate its 1st birthday, it has already achieved loads of accolades and will soon add 1 billion app downloads to its list of achievements.
In line with this, Apple has opened up a contest wherein anyone who downloads an app will get a chance to win either a $10,000 iTunes gift card, an iPod Touch or a Macbook Pro. The contest is open to Canadians although the Province of Quebec is excluded. We’re not too crazy about the iTunes gift card, but we’d certainly love to get a free Macbook Pro.
With so many apps being offered for free download, we don’t see why you shouldn’t take advantage of this very enticing offer.
