It was in December last year when Huawei officially announced they were hopping on board the Android bandwagon and joining the Open Handset Alliance, and hopefully, we’ll see their Android phone go on sale before 2009 comes to a close.

A Huawei concept Android phone was displayed back at MWC, but things weren’t clear back then as to when it might debut and what it would feature. After a couple of months of waiting however, details about Huawei’s Android phone are starting to surface and its now been confirmed to be headed for T-Mobile for release later this year. It is said to feature a 5-megapixel camera, 3.5mm headphone jack and WiFi, and will aptly be named the G3.
That’s about it for now. However, with the G2 yet to be released by T-Mobile, we might be in for a long wait before we see this Huawei-made G3 go on sale.
