We all probably know by now that the Samsung Omnia is now confirmed in Canada, and both Bell and Telus have been named as the carriers who will offer this touhscreen phone as part of their line-up.
And while Bell may have been the first to hand out their Omnia pricing scheme, Telus wasn’t far behind. Telus pricing revealed today pegs the Omnia on a 3-yr contract with Telus at $129.99 and a 2-yr or single year contract at $349.99 and $449.99 respectively. Opting for a no-contract deal with the Omnia will be a costly $499.99. If the 3-yr contract sounds good to you, best hurry. This price is a limited-time offering only for those who sign-up for a $40 or more voice, email & data monthly plan before the end of May 4th.
While Bell has the slight edge in pricing ($0.04 cheaper) and offers die-hard NHL fans specialty hockey content, this should be good news for loyal Telus subscribers.

Does anyone know if TELUS has support for GPS and coverage in Thunder Bay?
