The last time we saw the LG GD900 slider phone was back in January when it was unveiled. Unfortunately, it was merely a concept back then, and apart from its transparent keypad, we didn’t have an idea what it had to offer aside from its novel design feature.
After roughly two months, LG has released further details regarding their GD900. It comes with a 3-inch touchscreen display that supports finger gestures, and will also come bundled with the S-Class Touch UI (read: LG Arena KM900). That’s about it for now. They’ll be showcasing a working unit later this week at CTIA in Las Vegas so we should hear more about it in the coming days.
It’s scheduled to be released this May in Europe and Asia with a yet to be determined price. No word on a US release, but we’re hoping that it would happen within the year.
