If you still own a Nokia N79, N93 or N93i and want to get hooked on the new N-Gage gaming portal, we’re sorry to disappoint you, but you’ll need to upgrade your handset in order to do this.
As reported by a respected N-Gage Arena Forum moderator, the mentioned Nseries handsets won’t become N-Gage compatible as all attempts have failed to make it work on a satisfying level. Considering that Nokia had previously announced that these three would receive N-Gage support, it’s really disappointing to hear now that they can’t keep their promise.
Anyway, for what it’s worth, at least now you have more reason to buy the N85 or wait for the release of their latest flagship phone, the N97, as shown above.
