Ulysse Nardin unveils “Hybrid” Chairman mobile phone

Ulysse Nardin has finally unveiled their very first mobile phone offering, the Chairman.

This “hybrid smart phone” comes with a 2.8-inch multitouch display, 5-megapixel camera, WiFi, and even a finger-print scanner for added security. Of course, we can’t forget the kinetic rotor system that provides passive charging to the phone, but we’re still a bit skeptical about this novel new feature and will hold out passing judgment on this one until the first batch of early reviews come out.

The Chairman is available in Rose Gold, Rose Gold & Blue, Rose Gold & Steel, Steel with Blue trims, and Stealth Black iterations. It’s currently at display at BASELWORLD, and you can view the more photos here. Price was not mentioned, but don’t be surprised if it’s somewhere within or even higher than that of a Vertu.
