LG Neon now available for $50 on Fido

The LG Neon was first offered by Rogers in Canada, but now, it’s also available on Fido as well.

This QWERTY-equipped slider is priced at $50 on a 2-yr contract and $175 otherwise. It’s might seem more expensive with the starting price on Rogers which is pegged at $29.99, but remember, that’s on a 3-yr contract. Comparing the 2-yr contract from both telecoms will reveal that Fido is still the more affordable option as Rogers has theirs priced at $79.99. Contract-free still goes to Fido as Rogers is selling theirs for $199.99.

So, if you’re into QWERTY devices, this 2-megapixel packing, Bluetooth-enabled tri-band mobile phone from Fido might just be the one for you if you’re planning to save a buck or two on your mobile phone expenses.
