Motorola VE465 headed for Telus in Canda, Alltel and Verizon in US

There’s quite a number of rugged mobile phones out in Canada already, and here’s a new semi-rugged phone that we may soon see available on Telus; the Motorola VE465.

It’s a semi-rugged flip phone that features a 1.9-inch TFT internal display, 1.05-inch CSTN external display, 1.3-megapixel camera, stereo Bluetooth, music and video player, CDMA 800/1900/1700/2100 connectivity, microSD card support of up to 4GB in capacity, and runs on Brew OS. It looks pretty sleek for a semi-rugged device, but personally, we’re looking for more innovated devices from Motorola than just a rugged mobile phone.

The exact release date and price are still unknown, but it also looks like it’s headed for an AllTel and Verizon Wireless debut in the US. We’ll update you guys soon once we get more specific details on the Motorola VE465.

This website is aware that AllTel and Verizon are the same company now? Verizon bought them out not too long ago.
