I’ve had this phone for two months now and it’s starting to piss me off. It does freeze a lot and it also tends to shut off frequently when I go to use it. It’s a cheap phone so you’re getting cheap quality. Yes it looks cute and that’s why all the girls are, “OMG I luuuuuuuuuuuv this phone so much – to die for!”. Well it’s not to die for. Quality over cuteness. Very disappointed.

hey so i am getting this phone this week, but I am not sure if I want to anymore everyone is saying how it freezes all the time that kinda scares me to get it…

im not sure why people love this phone so much, its not that great, besides its price, the LG xenon for 50 bucks more has way more features and is in everyway a better phone. but i posted earlier that it had major issues, and it did, for pretty much everyone i know who has it including myself. but you can get this fixed by sending it back to rogers/fido, they upgrade the software free of charge and that fixes most issues, takes about 10-14 days to come back though. the issues ive seen with it are, it freezes/lags ALOT, especially when you open the keyboard. during calls it wont ring on your end, but at the other end they can hear you and you cant hear them (still does this sometimes) and sometimes turns itself off despite being charged (still does but less frequently). normally i dont post on forums but this phone juss pissed me off that much… avoid it if you can

Love the phone, awesome setting, nice functions HOWEVER very disapointed with the phone random turn offs. In the middle of the txt it just decides to turn it self off with a full battery life. Haven’t experienced the freezing, but I’m not looking forward to it. I don’t recommend this phone because it will frustrate you.

So, I’m getting a phone soon. And I really wanted this one. I’ve read all the reviews. And so far, I’ve heard that it freezes and then I ehard that some people love it. And then otehr crappy stuff. WHY do you people love it?
Becasue so far, I think I’m going to get it and then see what happens. To me, it looks like a situation that has mixed reviews depending on the person/ and where you got it from…?

Ok I just got this phone and I like it. For the people who’s cellphones who randomly shuts off why don’t you try and put the phone in “power save mode”? it uses less energy but still works

I’ve had two LG phones: Chocolate and the Neon. I’ve had bad experience with them concerning the interface and the reception. They are pretty, but that’s it. I’ve had the Chocolate (terrible interface and very limited) with Telus and the Neon with Rogers. The reception was bad for both. For example, many times when I say “hello”, the other person can’t hear me for the first 2 or 3 seconds of the call.

Anyway, that’s my experience. I can’t say yours will be as bad. Regardless, I’m going to skip any LG phones from now on.

I just got the LG neon pink for christmas. I think its really nice,, andi LOVE it but the connection on it is BAD! if our talking to someone it sometimes cuts off and sometims you just cant here the person. I got a pink skin for it and t looks gorgous and thecamera on the phone is really good! But the whole phone is reall cheep made. My parents paid some were in the hundreds for it, i dont no how much exactly. If your the type of person who drops phoes alot… i would not really get this pone. one drop and your screwed. The best phones i think for reception and quailtymade is motorola that was my pone yesterda and i droped it about 30 times and it works the same and looks the sme when i first got it. With Lg noen if you drop it once you probley will need a new phone.

Do N O T buy this phone! Google “LG Neon Shuts off”. This phone is shutting down at its own accord, very disappointed. Definitely my first and last LG. Don’t be fooled by its looks.

I had this cellphone for 5 months now and i dropped it alot of times but it still works great! and the reception is good too! i dunno about the people who says its horrible, but i love this phone! it never shuts off or does anything bad like wat other people say. maybe i just got the good phone :)

This phone is the most useless device I’ve ever used. Within 3 hours of getting it as a ‘free’ (50 rebate) upgrade with my Rogers contract, I switched back to using my “old” 3 yr old Nokia flipphone. I’m a little (lot) pissed at Rogers, as I find this phone insulting. It is designed for teenagers to sit at the mall and spend time IMing on all the IM services their little hearts desire. Not so much for any sort of practical usage. Oooh Fancy touch screen? Only to dial numbers. What’s the point of that? Really. Novelty wears of in 20 seconds. The interface is badly (very badly) designed and geared towards getting you to go online and download everything you need…for more money of course. That’s why it’s so cheap.

I was looking at buying this phone but apparently reading on here, I might not do that. I do have an LG Shine and have had other LG phones with no issues at all, I guess there’s always a lemon somewhere

I am glad to see I am not alone on this issue…
At first I loved this phone and couldn’t wait to get it! It was so cute with its pink and white colors and seemed great for the easy accessibility to texting which I love to do…
However, after the first month I started noticing the problems that come with this phone… so let me share my TOP 10 on what you could likely be looking forward to…

1) That it was not letting me receive all my texts that were being sent to me… or I would receive texts later on or even the next day.

2) Sometimes your previous texts from a few days or weeks ago will get MIXED in with current texts you’re sending out!!! This awful feature has resulted to too many argume

3) Oh and not to mention that the phone loves to shut off all by itself even if you have a full battery.

4) On random occasions, the phone will freeze and the screen will go all jagged with blackness or lines.

5) The touch tone feature it proclaims about is ONLY the NUMBERS option if you want to make a call out.

6) WARNING FOR THE TEXT LOVERS: I like to text too but with this phone…the text keypad is made of a really cheap quality because the letters on the buttons chip and rub off leaving you to try and guess what letters once were on what button. (Keep in mind my phone is not even a year old yet)

7) The phone will make you miss calls… by not ringing even though your phone is on…and the ringer is on. (Heaven forbid you have an emergency call to you!!)

8) Sometimes the phone will not let you call out… or so you think because you will not hear the phone ringing of the person you are dialing…HOWEVER, that person you called CAN hear YOU!! BUT you DON’T hear them or anything… This can be really bad!

9) While you are on the phone talking away…in the middle of your conversation the phone will just hang up! This is very very frustrating!

10) But the best is and scariest encounter is when this cute little LG Neon froze…and the only way to have it shut down was by pulling out the battery…in which I did… (cell phone in one hand and the battery in the other)…but never would I have guessed it to be possible if I didn’t see it for myself that the phone STILL had my frozen Screen picture still ON the PHONE as if it was still on!! Possessed is what I may call it…but truly this phone has a mind of its own… it will turn off or in this case stay on…at it’s own convenience and not yours.

I have been recommended by the technicians since there is nothing that they can do, that I return the phone.
So if you haven’t purchased this phone yet, then please, I say… “RUN!!”… and if you are looking for a phone that has similar features that are of a better quality… then I would recommend viewing the Samsung Gravity… it has the cute Colour options (like white and teal green) and it has the slide out keyboard style just like this LG Neon…but just even looking at the quality and structure of the keypads… you can tell it is of a higher quality… and Samsung has been out longer in the cell phone industry and knows about their phones and is really good for their cell phones durability and reliability.
Sorry for the lengthy post but just wanted to be honest with my experiences….

This phone looks great and is easy for texting and all that, but the first one I got had a manufacturing error in the screen. Figured it was just a fluke. I got another and I’m infuriated with it as we speak. It was fine for the first month or so but then it just went crazy. It freezes up randomly, shuts off, and takes forever to work again. I’ve never seen a more error prone phone in my life. Not worth it. I’m definitely getting another model to avoid more annoying problems.

This phone really is a piece of junk. It turns off randomly during texting (repeatedly sometimes), and freezes for a good 5 minutes when you delete more than 10 texts at a time. DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This phone is awful. I’ve had it for 14 months. It shuts off, the screen goes black, I’ve had the letters go upside down. It’s slow, the screen goes white, the battery doesn’t last. I replaced it.

Doooo NOT buy this phone!! I have had this phone now for 1 year, after 6 months, the phone kept shutting off by itself. I called Rogers and they said to bring it in for support, ya ok, how long am I going to be without a phone? My boyfriend has one too and his does the same thing, they are no good! Ya touch screen, lol, its only for dialing a number, and its faster to use the numbers on the keypad.

PIECE OF GARBAGE!! Its funny how they tell you anything to get you to buy the phone, then again they will tell you anything to get you off the phone when your complaining……..

k. so this phone is TERRIBLE. my screen ALWAYS freezes, then shuts off, and shuts off, and shuts off. i came online to look for solutions, and the best solution is to tape the battery on with a piece of tape. i think that is RIDICULOUS! i have had this phone for about 8 months, and i have a two year contract. i want to switch to rogers because they have more phone options, but i dont know if i am allowed to. but fido and rogers are owned by the same company, arent they? so cant i just switch? or is there a contract fee?

TE365F Review

To those looking to purchase this product, please take this review into serious consideration.

Over the course of a month after purchasing the TE365F the phone began shutting off. At first I thought it was at random, but I have discovered a pressure point at which it automatically crashes or shuts off with no warning. It turns off in my pockets often, proving that it happens often and the glitch is pretty severe.

Second, the phone messaging and calling service itself is terrible. It takes five entire minutes more or less for the phone to connect with the network after it restarts (it shuts off if pressure is applied to a certain part of the screen or if it’s slided rapidly – being a slide phone its purpose and efficiency is lost). After five whole minutes of waiting for it to connect, you are able to access its primary functions. Calling works during those five painful minutes but NOTHING can be accessed, including the camera/video camera, inbox/outbox of texting, missed calls etc.). I believe that this phone is literally useless in the event of an emergency.

Other than that, the only buttons below the screen – which should be the most important – are in fact all related to the companies internet service. Almost all of them lead to the internet or email. When one clicks one of those buttons mistakenly, there is a grace period of 10 seconds where it loads and buffers in establishing a connection. My plan does not permit the internet therefore these functions are long, useless, and annoying.

One more principal problem in this phone is its load times. It’s VERY slow and getting around the phones functions is PAINFUL. The phone menus are a MESS. To this date (6 months upon recieving the phone) I still have no clue how to turn off some of its useless functions – the one I’m battling now is the delivary message after I send a text. The menus are hard to get around and there are too many buttons serving the same functions.

The result? This phone sucks. Believe me. It’s a total loss and NOT worth investing in. I reccomend a Soni Ericsson to those looking at buying a phone that is functional and works well in comparison. The Soni Ericsson is in the same league except it is functional, reliable, and has a similar general function. The TE365F is all eye-candy. It has no brains – at all.
