We’re not one to frown on free cell phone giveaways, but finding a used one inserted in a bag of chips unpackaged is a totally different story.
According to the Janesville Gazette, this is exactly what happened to the amazement of a woman upon opening a bag Clancy’s Ripple Potato Chips. An outdated Nokia mobile phone was mingling along with the delectable chips inside with a discolored circle at the back of the phone from what could be a belt clip clearly indicating that it wasn’t brand new. It wouldn’t turn on, but a T-Mobile SIM card was still inserted in the phone.
She was offered a replacement for the chips, but she declined. We understand her apprehension in indulging in one of American’s favorite snacks especially after her harrowing experience. However, if it was a brand new replacement phone that was offered, we’re pretty certain that it’ll merit a more positive response.
