True to prior reports, Bell is now officially offering the BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8230 as part of their RIM line-up.
Bell is actually the first telecom to offer the CDMA version of RIM’s first ever flip phone beating Telus to the punch, and the price on a 3-year contract isn’t that bad either. It’ll only cost you a mere $29.95. However, opting for a two year plan significantly costs more at $349.95, and a single year will amount to $449.95. Ditching the contract goes without question as being the most expensive route as it’s retailing for $499.95 without any strings attached.
The Bell BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8230 comes with 1xEV-DO, 2-megapixel camera with flash, SureType keypad, GPS, Bluetooth, TV, and radio. As an added bonus, they’re also throwing in a 2GB microSD ard with NHL content and a free NHL decal. If the modest features of the Pearl Flip 8230 doesn’t win you over, maybe the free NHL add-ons will.
