The LG GD910 watch phone has officially been announced by Orange as the G910 watchphone and will soon be available in Europe. However, its truly unique design and approach to mobile communication apparently comes with a hefty price, £1,000 or $1,454 in US currency to be exact.
This isn’t definite yet, but the latest buzz on the internet has leaked this possible pricing scheme. You can also get the G910 on Orange for half the price at just £500 ($727) but you’ll have to sign up for a monthly plan of at least £40 ($58) to take advantage. It’s quite a hefty price to pay for a device that will no doubt come with its own set of drawbacks especially when compared to traditional handsets.
We’re still not sure if it will become available in Canada, but the initial rumored pricing in Europe does give us an idea of how much it would likely cost. So if you’re interested in getting the LG GD910 if and when it does get released in the North American market, you better start saving up early on as this one looks to be quite a pricey watch phone.
