Aside from the LG Globus, Rogers is also set to offer the LG Secret, Samsung Gravity, and Samsung Propel.
The 5-megapixel touting LG Secret slider is priced at $249.99 on a 3-yr contract, but if you sign-up to the $7 unlimited browsing add-on or a $15 and up value pack, it can be yours for $149.99. Meanwhile, the Samsung Gravity features a slide-out QWERTY keypad, 1.3-megapixel camera, quad-band EDGE and stereo Bluetooth. It’s expected to cost $29.99 on a 3-year contract. Last but not the least, the QWERTY-equipped Samsung Propel features a 1.3-megapixel camera, quad-band EDGE and dual-band HSPA (850/1900) for data speeds up to 3.6Mbps and will retail for $49.99 on a 3-yr contract as well.
There’s no doubt that the star of the trio is the LG Secret, but the Samsung Propel does look like a decent affordable alternative to those expensive QWERTY BlackBerry phones out now. No official announcement from Rogers just yet, but it could happen anytime soon as these were supposedly hitting the market last week.
