Those who were hoping on a Samsung Android phone being showcased at the Mobile World Congress will be disappointed to hear that the company has postponed their launch plans until later this year.
Samsung has already released a statement regarding their first Android-based phone in which they announced that it will be released sometime in the second half of 2009. This is certainly not good news, but considering that Android is still far from perfect, we’ll gladly accept a delayed release in order to avoid an overly-flawed product.
Be that as it may, there are still a lot of other goodies to look forward to from Samsung when the party kicks of in Barcelona. Their S8300 Ultra Touch with its new TouchWiz UI for example.
