While I personally have never used Nokia Chat, some of you guys out there might have found this chat feature useful and entertaining. Unfortunately (or not), all things come to an end and it’s Nokia Chat’s turn to say goodbye.
The good news is that Nokia is replacing it with a more versatile and capable chat client in the form of Contacts on Ovi. It’s compatible with more devices and comes with less annoying bugs. If you’re interested in upgrading to Contacts, you can download it from here. Just remember to remove Nokia Chat and any support package you may have installed on your mobile device before installing Contacts.
