BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8230 CDMA smartphone headed for Telus?

The BlackBerry Pearl Flip is the only RIM clamshell phone available to date. Likewise, it’s only available on Rogers since it’s a GSM phone. Well, if this rumor is true, that might all change in the near future.

Word is that RIM has a CDMA Pearl Flip 8230 being prepped up for a release in Canada soon. Telus has been name-dropped as the telecom who will be getting this refreshed CDMA version and according to BlackBerrySync, it might become available as early as next month.

What about Bell? Well this bit of news is still unofficial at the moment, so we may very well hear from them also once this CDMA Pearl Flip 8230 smartphone goes live in February and is proven true.
