Following the release of the WebOS-equipped Palm Pre, rumor is that the Palm Centro 2 will be the next model to get blessed with the new Palm mobile OS.
While this latest bit of info may not be far fetched, the idea that it will be released in the Fall of 2009 is a bit too much to expect from a company who is not known to release new products just a few months apart from each another. According to Palm Infocenter, the Centro 2 will be the latest device to feature the WebOS albeit looking identical to the 1G Centro in appearance. They could be spot on with regards to the Palm Centro 2 and WebOS, but the release date is highly unlikely unless Palm has likewise decided to change their strategy in tackling the market this new year as well.
As for the here and now, let’s just wait for the Palm Pre GSM model to become available first before we get all excited about the next WebOS Palm device.
