It looks like Meizu is planning to make a mark in the mobile phone industry in 2009 as they’ve opened a flagship store in Shenzhen, China. Upon opening, the store managed to sell out all of their available Meizu M8 phones and is now only accepting reservations.
They’ve also launched an English counterpart of their website for the international community who are interested in learning more about their products.
No word yet if they’ll be opening a flagship store elsewhere or when the Meizu M8 will be released internationally, but if the rest of the world gives the M8 the same reception as the Chinese people did, then I have no doubt that 2009 will be a successful year for the company.
