It looks like Philips is joining the dual-SIM fray with the unveiling of their new Xenium X710 mobile phone.
The Philips Xenium X710 comes with a 2.4-inch 240×320 TFT display, 3-megapixel camera with autofocus, GSM/GPRS/EDGE connectivity, Bluetooth, 20MB internal memory and microSD card support for additional storage of up to 8GB. Its aesthetics are up to par as far as Xenium phones go, and its feature set is standard fare considering that most dual-SIM phones don’t have much to brag about except for its dual-SIM functionality. With that being said, it looks to be a pretty decent alternative to the current pack of dual-SIM phones available in the market.
Availability and price are not yet available so don’t expect to find the X710 in North America stores before 2008 comes to a close. You’ll have to wait for a full disclosure from Philips as to when and where this will officially become available.
