While many find the 2-megapixel camera of the iPhone a bit of a disappointment due to its below par megapixel rating as compared to its contemporaries in the industry, I personally consider it sufficient enough especially for a mobile phone of its caliber. Nevertheless, I do feel that the iPhone’s camera could use a little improvement and the inclusion of a flash wouldn’t be so bad either.
Well, it seems that Snapture Labs is thinking of the same thing as they are currently developing a Xenon flash accessory for Apple’s sexy little mobile phone. Crafted as a slip on case, it provides the iPhone with a Xenon flash for those moments where ambient lighting isn’t good enough to take a decent shot. Both a first generation iPhone as well as the second generation 3G iPhone models are compatible with the accessory which is currently being developed. We don’t yet have any roll out dates for this truly unique accessory, however, if you want to be one of the first to own one, you can sign up to their mailing list to be informed once it’s released.
For those who don’t want to exert the extra effort, just stay tuned to us here. We’ll definitely keep tabs on this one as it’s a useful accessory that iPhone photography enthusiasts will surely love.
