These who’ve tried out LogMeIn Ignition to access their home PC or Mac from a remote location and loved it will be happy to know that there is now a version available for the iPhone as well.
For those unfamiliar with LogMeIn, it’s a pretty nifty application that provides you with remote desktop functionality just as long as your PC/Mac is turned on, connected to the internet and the program is running. The iPhone version provides you with more or less the same features. Unfortunately, it’s not free. The LogMeIn Ignition iPhone app will cost $29.99.
Nevertheless, if you’ve been a satisfied LogMeIn customer for quite sometime now, own an iPhone and have grown tired of lugging around your laptop, then the $29.99 fee is a small price to pay for the convenience you’ll be getting once you’ve got this new iteration installed on your iPhone.

Sounds good in theory, wonder how the actual experience will be? Lots of panning, zooming, etc.? I mean, to be able to really do stuff in such a small screen . . . it will be frustrating for me. I’ll hit the gym more to make my Macbook air even easier to carry around everyday.
I used this and jaduu vnc/rdp and I must say the jaduu apps are better(more responsive, faster). However the jaduu apps require port forwarding obviously.
