Like Nokia, Motorola has unveiled a brand new handset this week in the form of the MOTOROKR EM35. It’s not as groundbreaking as the N97, but the target markets are different with Motorola looking to attract the mobile multimedia junkie.

The EM35 is a slider that comes with a 2.2-inch 240×320 display, 3.1-megapixel camera, quad band GSM/GPRS/EDGE, stereo Bluetooth, integrated dual speakers, Windows Media player 11, 110MB internal memory, microSD card support and a Linux Java 7.4 operating platform. The MOTOROKR EM35 is scheduled to be available before 2008 ends.

Exact price and market availability was not mentioned, but a far as pricing is concerned, we’re pretty sure it won’t be overly expensive since it’s only a mid-level phone and doesn’t ome with 3G connectivity. The full press release can be found here.
