AdMob confirms iPhone no. 1 in Canada for Mobile Internet Use

Based on the October AdMob mobile internet traffic statistics, the iPhone is no. 1 in the AdMob network with 4.1% share of requests for the given month.

It has significantly increased from 28 million requests back in July to the 236 Million in October. Another interesting figure is that 62.8% of total iPhone requests came from the US where the iPhone is only the no. 2 device in the country. The iPhone, however, is the no. 1 device in Canada, France, Japan, Australia, Germany, Italy, Singapore and Switzerland. I guess the steady climb of the iPhone in the standings is thanks to it being a splendid mobile internet device which was further validated in the recent mobile internet browser showdown done by Gizmodo.

True, the iPhone may not be the best mobile phone of today, but it is the best mobile internet device in the market right now. For more details regrading AdMob’s October figures, you can find it all here (pdf).

This kind of massive popularity is why the share price of apple is sinking like a brick. Wait, does that make sense?
