Latest Skyfire Browser made Better, Easier to Download and Install

Skyfire has just released the latest Beta version of their mobile internet browser and is inching ever so close to its full and final version.

What’s great about this latest iteration is that it dumps the old registration procedure so you can download and install it to your phone quickly and easily. They’re also introducing the SuperBar in this version which allows you to enter either a URL or search query using just a single field. The ability to download content from most web pages, faster application launch and improved battery life round out some of the more notable improvements in this latest Skyfire Beta version. Unfortunately, this version isn’t compatible with mobile devices that come with a WVGA 8004×480 display and doesn’t support DivX, XviD videos and FTP browsing.

To try Skyfire for yourself, you can enter your phone number here and a link will be sent to your mobile phone or you can just head on over to get.skyfire.com on your phone to download and install the Skyfire app. It still isn’t perfect, but it’s slowly getting there.
