Thanks to the crafty espionage work of BGR sources, a possible release date of the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1a has been uncovered.

The phone is supposed to be “in stock” at BestBuy starting December 7th barring anymore delays. As for its price, estimates are pegging it $799 which makes it cheaper than Nokia’s N96 albeit still on the expensive side. Do take note however, that price is carrier-free so you can expect lower prices when telecoms pick this device up and offer it under their holiday line-up with a contract.

It’s been a long wait and I do hope the XPERIA X1a doesn’t disappoint. Let the count down finally begin!
