International call rates have definitely gone down from yesteryear, but regardless of how low it has gone, there’s still nothing compared to making free calls.
That’s what you get when you visit Freebuzzer.com. No registration or sign-up fee is required. Just select your country of residence, enter your cellphone number, pick the country you wish to call, type in the number you’re calling and click “Make a free call” and you’re good to go. It’s that easy!
Calls, however, are limited to 3 calls per day and 2 minutes in duration, but that’s a reasonable drawback for the free service. You’ll probably have to lug around you’re laptop if you want to take advantage of the free service while on the road, but considering how compact laptops are these days, it might not be much of a burden.
We’re not sure yet if it works on an iPhone or a Windows-Mobile powered device. If you guys get to try this out on either device, give us a holler and tell us how it goes.
