We’ve seen mobile phones being given away for free on select plans from various wireless firms, but wouldn’t a free BlackBerry Bold be really tempting?
Well…that’s exactly what LetsTalk is offering interested US buyers. After signing up for a $59.99/month or more 2-yr contract with AT&T, buyers are then entitled to a mail-in rebate of $199.99 which is the selling price of the RIM device; hence, the free BlackBerry Bold promo. The $59.99/month is a bit of a hefty price to pay for a minimum of two years on AT&T, but think of how much you’ll save once you send in the $199.99 mail-in rebate form. Come to think of it, the $199.99 price isn’t so bad considering how expensive it was when it first debuted with Rogers in Canada.
Again, this offer is limited to the US buyers, but Best Buy Mobile is offering Canadians a similar offer up until November 27, albeit with a 3-yr plan. Looks like now is a mighty fine time to get a BlackBerry Bold, wouldn’t you agree?
