There are a variety of expense management apps out there, but the JetSet app from BriteMac seems to stand out from the rest of the pack.

It might not be free, but the good folks who make this app have decided to lower its cost when version 1.1 rolls out on October 6. Instead of the usual $9.99 price, it will be offered for just $4.99. So what makes the JetSet app so appealing? It’s got 15 major expense categories that are displayed through icons and has over a 100 subcategories. It also allows you to attach photos to particular expenditures, and gives you the option to export your database to Google spreadsheets or Excel.

It’s a pretty good deal if you ask me, but if you know any better expense management apps out there that gives more bang for the buck, we’re all ears. If not, mark your calendars and save October 6 as the date to get the new discounted JetSet app from the App Store.
