Nokia 5800 Tube launch on October 2 confirmed

We finally received confirmation that aside from the Come with Music service launch, the Nokia 5800 Tube will also be making its London debut on October 2.

This is definitely something we’re looking forward to as it marks Nokia’s entry into the touchscreen market. It’s not only the device we’re excited about, but more importantly, the new S60 touch-based OS it will be brandishing under the hood. The Nokia 5800 Tube XpressMusic phone will be a landmark of sorts to determine if the Finnish company has what it takes to battle it out with the likes of Apple and HTC, both of whom have drawn success from their touchscreen-enabled devices.

Now that it’s confirmed, all we have to do is wait for the grand day to arrive.
