I know you’re dying to know the answer to the question. How does the HTC G1 fare in comparison to other phones in its category?

Gizmodo has come up with this chart to show how the HTC G1, iPhone, HTC Tilt, BlackBerry Bold, and HTC Touch Pro compare to each other in the various categories. As you can see in the table, the T-Mobile HTC G1 is the cheapest of the bunch with a moderately sized display and one of the more powerful cameras. The only thing missing in the first-ever Android phone is a desktop sync application, and while Exchange is also absent, they are however introducing Push Gmail which we’re as curious as you are to find out how it will stack up to the services of Microsoft, BlackBerry and Apple. Otherwise, it looks to be a completely loaded smartphone.

So, based on this relatively informative chart, are you ready to get a T-Mobile G1 on October 22?
