There’s finally confirmation that T-Mobile will be launching the first Android-based phone on September 23 in New York City.
While I’m assuming that it’ll most likely be the HTC Dream, I’m kind of hoping that either T-Mobile or HTC will surprise us with a different model as the Dream is, to be quite honest, a bit underwhelming. As much as everyone’s excited about the Android OS, it’s sad to say that I don’t share that same enthusiasm about the HTC Dream due to the leaked pictures and its boring design. Anyway, I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt. Maybe what we saw a few weeks back was just a prototype, right? Let’s just wait for its launch on Tuesday to find out what the official first Android-based handset will really look like.
