While SlingPlayer may have been around for quite some time now, those whose phones are running on the Symbian UIQ haven’t had the chance to experience this media app, but that was until today.
SlingPlayer is now also available for download on Symbian UIQ-running devices although Sling Media has only tested it on a Sony Ericsson W960i, P1i, P990i and G900i (WiFi only). My guess is that it’ll work with most of the current mid- to high-end Sony Ericsson phones, but it’s still best to test it out first. Besides, there’s an on-going free trial so why not check it out.
