Here’s some good news for those who have been waiting patiently for the Palm Treo Pro. The Palm Store is now accepting preorders for the $549 black obsidian Palm Treo Pro. Shipping will take two to three weeks, and it will, of course, be free of any network-lock of sorts.
Die-hard Palm fanatics might opt to wait for a Palm OS version, but with the current state Palm is in right now, I’d say it’s better to get what’s available now rather than hope for something than has no clear indication of its availability anytime soon.
Besides, with the Palm Treo Pro’s new look and full set of features, it’s a sure winner in my book even if it runs on Windows Mobile 6.1.
