Maybe only a handful or even less have managed to get themselves one of the new Nokia Nseries phones, but nonetheless, for those few lucky folks, we’ve got some good news. Fring has released a version that works on two of the three new Nseries models; namely the N78, and N96. While the N85 still isn’t supported, we reckon it won’t be long before a compatible version is likewise released as well.

For those wondering what Fring is, it’s a nifty little multi-IM app that works on a variety of mobile platforms. AIM, GTalk, YM, ICQ and Skype are just some of the IM services it can connect to. You can download Fring either to your phone directly or to your PC and install it from to your mobile phone. There’s also a Fring version available for the iPhone/iPod Touch though its still limited to jailbroken units only.

It’s similar to Palringo and BeeJive, but this is by far the most versatile multi-IM app available as it supports a wide variety of phones and integrates the most number of IM services. Downloading is free of charge, but don’t blame us for your expensive data service bill once you get hooked on this mobile VoIP/chat application.
