Aside from the new data plans set to roll out in October, Rogers is also giving iPhone users new budget-friendly plans to choose from. Here’s the lowdown on what these new plans will offer:
$60/month
- 250 daytime minutes (up from 150) + unlimited nights / weekends
- 1GB data (up from 400MB)
- 75 texts
- Visual Voicemail
- 3 months of unlimited local calling
- a permanent MY5 Local option

- 2GB data (up from 750MB)

It’s still not cheap, but at least it has more to offer for the given price as opposed to the old plans. With these new developments on the Rogers iPhone front, are you now willing to hop on the iPhone bandwagon or is the data still too expensive for your taste?

Hi thanks for this info. I just need to know that those plans are only for iPhone specifically or I can get that plan for my Sony X1 which will be releasing in October?
It looks like these new plans are exclusive only to the iPhone, but I’m not sure. It’s best to ask them when these plans are officially offered and the new data plans are out as well.
