It’s now official. Helio has signed a deal with Virgin Mobile putting to rest rumors circling about the company’s dilemmas and woes.
After the restructure and massive loss in profits due to decreasing customer base, it was more or less inevitable that someone save Helio from completely going under, and Virgin Mobile was up to the task of doing so. It was almost guaranteed that not everybody would be please with the merger, and those who feel they got the shorter end of the deal are the Helio customers. Well, they can’t do much about it now unless they found another telecom to switch to.
It just goes to show how the industry is so highly competitive that it’s either you really know how to swim and stay afloat or else you’ll totally sink. Unfortunately, Helio is the latter.
